Blacksmith’s Craft

Brian Greaves is an artist blacksmith; he designs and creates his own unique work aboard canal tug Bronte which he built in1992. Bronte is equipped with a blacksmith’s forge and all the tools he needs. Brian takes his inspiration from the beauty of his surroundings. He lives with his wife Jane on their Butty Emily which has been their home for 26 years, travelling
the length and breadth of the canal system, creating and selling his work, including candlesticks, fire tools, sculptures, hooks, pendants, prices from £3. Brian can often be seen at work in the forge. He will be at the RCTA Burton on Trent market in May
