2021 Floating Markets Update
A FENDER (What a big one)! BY JENNIE HOWLAND
 PJ FENDERS (Paul) on Panda Julienne has been making fenders for boaters for some time now. Recently he made a special commission for the back of Billy Wizz, a 57inch long fender to protect the back of the boat when towing Tea Junction.  Paul has just finished his latest commission. A 59 inch long tip cat which incorporated approximately 150 metres of 12 ml rope, 40 metres of 10 ml rope for the four Turks heads and 2 metres plus of chain. It took Paul about 23 man hours of work to complete. It has been made for Mr Jingles, as Keri-Leigh and Dan are getting a butty and will be towing.

Paul enjoys his work and is happy to take special commissions as time and space allows.

Oh I have had fun the last few days. My peoples have been with lots of other peoples and I got the chance to play with lots of my mates. There was Doris (she is a German shepherd) Cosmo & Daquiri (the golden boyz – retrievers) Dudley (patterdale terrier but he is still a baby) George (Gordon Setter) who had a toothache and the Skye Terrorists (sorry terriers) Jake and Troy and me all together by the boats having loads of fun.
I sneaked on to C & D’s boat and got lots of toys out so we had fun swapping them between us. Mr Squash and Mr Harvey and Mr Bosun would have loved it but they were at home with their peoples. Maybe next time. The ‘hooligans’ were there as well but as they are – dare I say it – cats, they did not join in but George did get on well with them slowly stalking their every move! Got to play with C & D again last night but its just me and my peoples again tonight. Boring !!!! Luv Patch xx |
