Fern Photographic

I am an artist originally from Coventry and John Starkey my partner is a writer/ performer from Wales, we continually cruise on our little boat Fern and are now trading photography and books wherever we go. We converted part of the boat into a darkroom so now we can sell traditional darkroom processed prints such as silver gelatin tin types. Most of my work is based on the canal as I’ve been passionate about it for the last 20 odd years. We are hoping to trade all over the system and are on the lookout for any interesting opportunities that come up. We nearly didn’t make it at all as our boat sank 2 years ago in Wigan but luckily we have made a comeback and are afloat again, now Fern has a new lease of life!
