The Beverage Boat

The beverage boat was Joshua’s idea – after we relocated the family from Southampton to Cefn Coch in rural mid Wales so he could study at university in September.

It came about after spending every spare moment we had going to different stretches of canal for long walks. We had felt for a long time that our family unit needed something different to the mainstream bricks and mortar. We thought a tiny house would suit us on a large plot of land producing our own food. However, the reality was not to be due to such tight planning rules in the UK. So back to the drawing board we went and Joshua decided not to go to university this year.

Which leads us to narrow boat Molly- our alternative lifestyle from which we sell hot drinks. Including herbal teas and all kinds of coffee including soya options, bottled juices and biscuits.

On our 57ft piece of heaven we have Alfie our Labrador, kiddies Henry-3 years and Aiden- 7 years (both of which are home schooled) and myself Kailey.
